Senior Accountant
Compensation
$90,000 to $100,000 USD

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
- Lead the design, preparation, and continuous improvement of balance sheet and income statement reconciliations across multiple business lines
- Play a key role in month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement accuracy
- Drive process optimization and implement best practices to support scalable, timely, and accurate reporting
- Support revenue, WIP, AR, and expense accounting activities, ensuring proper classification and compliance
- Collaborate closely with finance leadership on strategic initiatives, systems enhancements, and use of technology
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and audit or financial statement review processes
- Operate independently on special projects and ad-hoc analysis with minimal oversight
Must-Have Skills & Experience (Required)
- 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with account reconciliations and month-end close
- Demonstrated success improving or redesigning accounting processes
- High level of technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in data-driven environments
- Curiosity and readiness to work with modern analytics tools (Power BI, AI-enabled reporting)
Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA a plus
- Experience working in multi-entity or project-based environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage or similar platforms preferred)
- Salesforce a plus!
