Administrative Assistant
Supports senior level roles in a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions as well as specialized technical support for academic or administrative departments. The Administrative Assistant position will provide administrative support in the School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs for Special Events and Projects. The incumbent will assist with the planning and execution of special events and projects. Will also assist with website design and ongoing management, technological optimization of office processes, data management and reporting.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant position may include but not limited to the following:
Coordinate new initiatives and handle administrative support tasks for newly identified and expanded pillars of SOM Faculty Affairs
Lead event planning and execution
Generate and analyze reports and track budget expenses
Communicate effectively with faculty leaders, staff and intended audience
Utilize software for communications (website, Qualtrics, Wufoo, Canva, etc.)
Physical Effort: Operates computers and other office equipment, communicates effectively with management contacts, performs well under pressure. Mostly sedentary. May require some light lifting (10-15 lbs.)
