This non-teaching temporary job is posted to meet K-12 student needs during the anticipated Lake Shore Central 2026 Summer Program. Summer programming will take place in the Middle School for grades K-12 Special Education Programs. Grades 9-12 Regular Education Programs will take place at the High School.
Applicants hired for this temporary position will begin Monday, July 6, 2026 and continue through Friday, August 14, 2026.
This position is considered to be extra per diem work and is contingent on enrollment and maintenance of enrollment. If attendance rate drops during Summer School, staff requirements and needs will be adjusted accordingly. The expectation is that the PCA will be present for all days. Lapses in attendance will be considered when hiring PCA's for future Summer School employment opportunities. Extra work does not result in accrual of additional leave time, and leave time may not be used for this work.
