Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator - ADVANCED!
Set up, operate, maintain, and execute changeovers on injection molds to drive efficient, reliable production performance.
Configure and validate process setups for each mold and part, ensuring strict compliance with documentation and proactively updating records when process changes occur.
Deliver hands-on technical support for tooling maintenance, repair, and refurbishment programs to maximize tool life and performance.
Diagnose and resolve mold and tooling issues, reducing downtime and sustaining consistent product quality.
Inspect molded components visually and dimensionally to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer specifications.
Operate and adjust secondary equipment including drill presses, cutters, milling machines, sonic welders, and custom fixtures to meet production and quality requirements.
Apply advanced diagnostic tools and process analysis techniques to optimize injection molding performance and achieve high-quality output in minimal cycle time.
Serve as a technical subject-matter expert and tooling design liaison, collaborating with engineering and management to recommend manufacturability and process improvements.
Approximately 2 years of plastic injection molding mechanical experience.
Hands-on experience with plastic injection molds, including setup, changeover, and maintenance.
Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair of tooling and related machinery.
Attention to detail in visual inspection and quality verification of molded parts.
Experience with programming tasks related to cameras integrated into injection molding machines.
PLC programming experience is a plus.
Tool and die experience is highly valuable.
This is a Permanent position based out of Albert Lea, MN.
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
