The Forklift Operator is responsible for accurate, timely and safe handling of incoming and outgoing material in warehouse and production environments.
Shift: Day or Night
Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (Day), 6:00 pm - 6:00 am (Night)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
(Weekend OT as needed)
Location: Walton, KY
Work Environment: Warehouse
Core Responsibilities:
Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company.
Performs routine pre-shift and post-inspections on warehouse equipment.
Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets.
Load trailers with pre-determined patterns for legal weight distribution.
Provides support picking and staging orders, loading, and unloading trucks.
Ability to store and rotate stock in correct locations with minimal variance.
Correctly identify, and apply labels to material received
Help support facility cleanliness
Effectively communicates with and supports team
Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good prioritization and problem-solving ability,
Self-starter that requires minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years' experience preferred within related fields.
Proficient ability with forklift classes 1 through 5 including, double deep high reach, standup, double walkie riders, electric and LP forklifts
Previous RF/WMS experience
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Education or equal
Valid class A license helpful.
