Child Care Program Assistant

Job Summary: To assist in providing quality school age child care programming for children, creating a safe and inclusive environment fostering social and emotional growth through learning, play, and relationships. We are a before/after school and summer child care program, and provide year round work opportunities to our staff.
Location: Brookview Elementary
Work Schedule: 6.5 hours per day, 5 days per week School year hours are a split shift: 6:00-8:00 AM & 1:30-6:00 PM *Summer hours are a straight shift (exact shift times vary)
Salary: Hourly rate $19.06 - $20.30 with Benefits

No nights or weekends
Flexible schedule, can work one to five days a week

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or its GED equivalent.
Must possess or obtain a current first aid and CPR certification (will need to submit documentation within 120 days of beginning date of employment). Opportunities for certification are provided.
Desired candidate should have background/training in one or more of the following areas: child development, child guidance, human relations, communications and recreational programming.
