Job Description
CALL CENTER OPERATOR
Shift Hours: 7a-3:30pm
FULL TIME 40 HRS/WEEK
ON SITE - Geneva, NY
Under the supervision of the Director of Security, operates a Meridian I Telephone System console, performs duties for a 24-hour answering service, paging system, and emergency response center. Carries out general clerical duties. Provides exceptional customer service in a courteous and professional manner. Greets customers consistent with Healing Environment standards.
EDUCATION:Minimum:• High School EducationPreferred:• Business or Office assistant degreeWORK EXPERIENCE:Preferred:• Experience as a switchboard operatorSKILLS:Minimum:• Requires a sensitive and reassuring approach to patients.• Demonstrated ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner, handle confidential information with discretion.• Ability to perform multiple functions during stressful/busy periods in a calm and professional manner.• Demonstrated ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.• Excellent interpersonal skillsPreferred:• Experience dealing with patients and/or emergency situations
