Call Center Operator

Shift Hours: 7a-3:30pm
Full Time 40 Hrs/Week
On Site - Geneva, NY
Under the supervision of the Director of Security, operates a Meridian I Telephone System console, performs duties for a 24-hour answering service, paging system, and emergency response center. Carries out general clerical duties. Provides exceptional customer service in a courteous and professional manner. Greets customers consistent with Healing Environment standards.
Education:
Minimum: High School Education
Preferred: Business or Office assistant degree
Work Experience:
Preferred: Experience as a switchboard operator
Skills:
Minimum:
Requires a sensitive and reassuring approach to patients.
Demonstrated ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner, handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to perform multiple functions during stressful/busy periods in a calm and professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Experience dealing with patients and/or emergency situations
