Are you a social worker who enjoys Court Work and working with freedom and flexibility?

Leaders in Care are working with a proactive Local Authority in the Cheshire area, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and families, while enjoying flexibility, support, and stability.

This position offers a balanced approach to hybrid working — with only two days per week in the office and the rest from home. You’ll be part of a committed safeguarding team focused on delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people.

Your Role:

Undertake assessments and interventions to safeguard children at risk.

Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and court cases.

Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

Contribute to effective care planning and permanency arrangements.

Work collaboratively within a supportive management structure that values reflection and professional growth.

About You:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

Proven experience in Child Protection and Court Work.

Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
