
Senior Manager Information Technology, Enterprise Business Platforms

Role Overview
The
Senior Manager Information Technology, Enterprise Business Platforms
ensures the streamlined operation of the IS Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise business platforms, driving technical excellence, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to support organizational priorities.
Work Arrangement

Responsibilities
People Leadership & Talent Management
Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems
Accomplishes IT operations human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
IT Operations & Service Delivery
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing
Ensure the streamlined operation of the IS Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization
Achieves IT operations operational objectives by maintaining current system
Resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
Lead technical delivery and support for platforms used in behavioral health and related healthcare operations
Balance strategic leadership with day-to-day technical guidance/support and delivery oversight
Technology Strategy, Architecture & Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development
Establish technical best practices, governance standards, and operational procedures for enterprise platforms
Drive platform standardization, optimization, modernization, and technical debt reduction initiatives
ERP Strategy & Execution: Partner with business leaders to develop and deliver a strategic ERP roadmap that aligns with enterprise priorities and vendor roadmaps
Facilitate and participate in the design of strategic IT solutions with other partners and architects and collaborate with other IT disciplines as needed
Improves quality results by evaluating and upgrading processes; directing changes
Financial & Resource Management
Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures
Meets IT operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget
Scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across IT, business stakeholders, external partners, and SMEs to ensure ERP initiatives reflect operational realities and enterprise priorities
Confirm alignment with business partner requirements through early engagement and regular feedback loops
Partner with behavioral health business leaders, operations teams, clinical stakeholders, and administrative functions to support systems that enable care delivery and back-office operations
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and finance teams to improve workflows, user experience, reporting, and interoperability across business and care-related systems
Release Management, Integrations & Platform Support
Manage and partner with business teams and vendors to plan, test, and release upgrades and initiatives such as maintenance releases, major releases, API integrations, SSO integrations, etc.
Provide hands-on technical expertise in configuration, customization, integration, administration, and troubleshooting of enterprise business platforms
Experience designing and supporting integrations, APIs, middleware, ETL/data flows, and enterprise data exchange patterns
Service Requirements, Documentation & Data Insights
Determines IT operations service requirements by analyzing needs of users/departments
Prioritizing modifications to core system applications; resolves organizational conflict
Developing and implementing documentation requirements for problem resolution
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends in new technologies for storage architecture, capacity, and response time
Professional Development & Organizational Contribution
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.=
Maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
At least three (3) or more years experience managing technical teams or leading enterprise platform delivery
At least five (5) or more years experience in enterprise applications, business platforms, systems integration, or business systems engineering
Other Skills
Strong hands-on technical experience with enterprise business platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS,ITSM, workflow automation, or healthcare-related systems
Experience supporting behavioral health business operations and understanding the business processes, compliance needs, and operational workflows of behavioral health organizations
Experience working with systems related to behavioral health, healthcare operations, patient management, billing, scheduling, documentation, reporting, or care coordination
Experience designing and supporting integrations, APIs, middleware, ETL/data flows, and enterprise data exchange patterns
Strong experience in system configuration, technical troubleshooting, release management, and platform administration
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working in Agile, hybrid delivery, or product-based operating models
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business, technical, and operational healthcare audiences
Experience working in Agile, hybrid delivery, or product-based operating models. (JIRA Etc)
Experience with implementing and operational support of Saas based ERP platforms. Workdays or Dayforce or Oracle fusion etc.
Experience working in Behavioral health systems, Credible, Raintree, JIVA, Netsmart Avatar etc.
