Overview
The Quality Intelligence Project Manager will support global quality and compliance initiatives within a Commercial Quality Assurance (QA) organization. This role is responsible for managing quality intelligence, regulatory assessments, and medium-to-large scale projects that support quality assurance strategy and compliance objectives across manufacturing sites and commercial affiliates.
The position requires strong project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to independently manage governance, timelines, and resources to ensure quality systems remain compliant with evolving regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize processes for implementing new and updated regulations and standards, including monitoring, assessment, and change management activities.
Lead cross-functional efforts to assess and remediate current and future regulatory impacts on quality systems.
Drive updates to policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with market and regulatory requirements.
Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage deliverables to completion.
Coordinate and track cross-functional project timelines, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating to senior leadership as needed.
Address resource constraints through data-driven proposals to mitigate compliance risks and support business objectives.
Provide clear, consistent written and verbal communication to stakeholders regarding project scope, timelines, risks, and progress.
Lead and participate in global projects while adhering to established PMO governance standards.
Integrate quality initiatives based on compliance risk, resource availability, and business priorities.
Recommend and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of quality processes.
Accountability & Scope
Quality and compliance are critical to maintaining market competitiveness and long-term business success. This role operates with limited supervision and carries responsibility for supporting the integrity of quality systems across the supply chain and commercial operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience (e.g., Business Administration, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Engineering).
5–7 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition manufacturing environment, preferably pediatric or medical nutrition.
Experience in Quality, R&D, Project Management, Procurement, or Operations roles.
Strong knowledge of food GxP, nutritional regulations, manufacturing controls, and quality systems.
3–5 years of experience in project leadership roles.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to plan, lead, and facilitate meetings.
Experience working with international teams and partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Expertise in ingredients, processes, and formulation related to nutritional and infant products.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Class A).
