Position: Perioperative Care Technician
Location: Surgical Services Department at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: PRN position - varied shifts
Responsibilities
Adheres to hospital policies and standards
Maintains patient documentation within scope of practice
Participates In Required Education, Competencies, And Training Requirements.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
Follows HIPAA compliance.
Responds to emergent situations, demonstrates strong skills, and responds appropriately.
Adheres to patient safety and monitors patient needs frequently
Transports patients to and from surgery, stocks inventory in assigned area, and monitors/facilitates activities (call lights, blankets, patient toileting, and privacy)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid KY SRNA license
1-2+ yrs of experience preferred
Job Demands
Strong Attentive and Communication Skills
Ability to work at a fast pace
Maintain accurate and concise documentation
Frequent walking, standing, and lifting
Able to lift over 50lbs
