
Maintenance Mechanic

Overview
The maintenance mechanic is responsible for keeping the equipment in the ClimateMaster plant in good operating condition by performing preventative maintenance, machine tests, troubleshooting, removing technical issues, and performing emergency repairs.
Essential Functions
Installation and assembling of new machines and equipment
Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
Diagnosing and repairing machine failures
Installing replacement parts
Using power tools and different hand tools to execute assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
Follow industry best practices and other safety guidelines
Controls downtime by informing production works of routine preventative maintenance techniques, monitoring compliance
Logging performed maintenance work
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Occupational or Vocational training in Electronics, Electrical, HVAC, controls or similar field preferred
Experience:
Experience as Commercial/Industrial service technician or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
