Location: Cincinnati, OH (Blue Ash)
Employment Type: Part-time (16 hours/week)
Proposed Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $2328/hour, based on experience
Requirements

Maintain a smoke-free environment
Comfortable around children and a small-sized dog
Up-to-date vaccinations preferred
Reliable transportation; comfortable using own vehicle for errands
Respectful of and comfortable working in a Jewish household
Proposed Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 10:00 am 2:00 pm (16 hours weekly)
About Our Family

We are a busy, close-knit family of five with three energetic children (ages 8, 6, and 4) and a beloved dog, a King Charles Cavalier. Our family values routine and structure and prioritizes consistency in our day-to-day rhythms to help everything run smoothly. Mom works from home while dad works from the office. Both parents travel for workmom quarterly and dad more frequentlybut we make a conscious effort to ensure that one of us is home when the other is away.
We are soon transitioning into a new, bigger home in Cincinnati, which is an exciting and busy season for our family, but with that space comes additional upkeep and organization. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of household management and help maintain consistency and order as we settle in and beyond.
Who You Are / What We Are Looking For

Housekeeping Experience:

Highly organized, dependable, and proactive with experience in household cleaning, laundry, and basic organizational tasks
Attention to Detail:

You thrive in maintaining an orderly and clean home, and take pride in your work with an eye for cleanliness and structure
Self-Starter:

Comfortable managing household tasks independently and enjoys following a detailed task list to ensure everything is completed efficiently
Supportive Attitude:

Able to work in a home with a work-from-home parent while balancing independence with a warm, positive presence
Key Responsibilities

Daily Tasks (Priority)

Morning House Reset:

Wash dishes left in the sink or on the table(s) and place in the dishwasher
Unload dishwasher if applicable
Wipe countertops
Push in table and island chairs
Fold blankets and put in cabinets
Reset couch cushions and pillows as needed
Sweep or vacuum mudroom/locker room, kitchen, dining area, and front door entryway
Put toys away
Check and empty (as needed) interior kitchen trash cans

Open any packages at the front door and recycle packaging
Put away delivered groceries if applicable
Weekly Tasks (Priority)

Changing Bedsheets:

Change and remake beds in the primary bedroom and three children's bedrooms
Cleaning & Disinfecting:

Clean and disinfect 5 bathrooms (including sinks, hardware handles/plumbing, countertops, toilets, showers, and mop floors)
Sweep and mop floors in all rooms (across three floors)
Vacuum or lint roll the couch and chairs in the family room to remove pet hair

Laundry:

Wash, dry, fold, and put away 8 loads of laundry weekly (including adults and children's clothing, bedsheets, bathroom towels, towels from gym and sauna areas)
Ensure laundry area remains tidy and machines are emptied to avoid wet clothes sitting in the washer
Hang-dry adult clothing as needed

Other Cleaning Tasks:

Check and empty all interior trash cans (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms)
Sweep front patio and back patio

Pantry & Supply Review:

Review pantry and paper goods closet; notify the employer of snacks, food items, or cleaning supplies that are out of stock or running low
Monthly Tasks

Deep Cleaning & Maintenance:

Disinfect gym equipment (dumbbells, barbells, benches, high-touch areas)
Disinfect cold plunge/hot tub and sauna areas
Wipe out three refrigerator shelves and drawers
Sweep out garages (when reasonable temperatures permit)
Clean the interior of family automobiles
Clean kitchen ovens, stovetop filters

Future House Tasks

Moving & Organizational Support:

Assistance packing and unpacking for the expected house move in April 2026

Additional Household Support:

Light food preparation for dinners or after-school snacks
Grocery ordering/shopping
Mailing packages
Managing returns to stores
Purchasing gifts and wrapping gifts
Assisting with holiday or event hosting prep
Picking up medicines from the pharmacy
Dropping off or picking up the family dog to the groomer
