About Our Family
We are a busy, vibrant, and warm family, balancing professional careers with raising two energetic children (ages 6 and 8) and a friendly Golden Retriever. Our schedules vary, with one parent often traveling for work and the other managing a flexible but demanding career from home. We have some support in place, but we are looking to establish systems that will help keep our home organized and running smoothly, especially during the busy after‑school window, when an extra set of hands would help create a bit more space.
Overall, we are looking for someone who can bring structure, consistency, and a sense of ease to our home, freeing us up to be more present with our kids and creating a smoother rhythm to our days. The right person will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities, from meal prep and organization to supporting after‑school transitions. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working with children, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we would love to meet you.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For
You are an experienced Household Manager or similar professional who is comfortable running the daily afternoon flow of a busy home with minimal direction. You bring strong organizational skills and take pride in creating systems that keep things running smoothly. You’re confident in the kitchen and enjoy planning and preparing healthy, protein‑forward meals, helping to ease daily decision‑making and ensure dinners are ready during the busy after‑school window.
You are comfortable stepping into the after‑school transition and bringing structure to that part of the day—resetting backpacks and lunch items, setting up snacks, preparing for the next day, and keeping high‑traffic areas like the mudroom organized and clutter‑free. You can guide children in simple, age‑appropriate responsibilities while maintaining a calm, orderly environment. You’re also happy to support light errands and behind‑the‑scenes household needs, including seasonal clothing and gear rotation.
You are proactive, intuitive, and highly self‑directed. You naturally look for ways to improve how things are done and take initiative without needing to be asked. You’re tuned into the rhythm of the family and become a steady, trusted presence in the home—someone who blends in comfortably while maintaining a professional, respectful approach and taking ownership of your role. You notice details, like when the kids need new clothes or seasonal gear, and keep things current and organized. You’re a clear, thoughtful communicator who keeps us informed while making day‑to‑day decisions with confidence. You are comfortable with dogs and happy to include a friendly Golden Retriever in your day. Above all, you bring a calm, capable presence and take satisfaction in helping a home feel organized, functional, and easy to live in.
