Janitorial Cleaning Position
This position is responsible for maintaining the floors by vacuuming the carpets, stairwells, some sweeping/mopping of VCT. He/she is a part of a team performing these duties using an upright and or backpack vacuum. Shift is Monday thru Friday, 5-9 p.m. $15.25hr. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
Overall duties include daily vacuuming, dust moping/wet moping
Perform all cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
Maintain equipment, proper care of tools.
Use proper PPE where required
Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
Has respect and understanding for customer
Must be able to communicate in English, using apps when necessary.
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and or carry 25lbs.
Ability to read cleaning instructions written in English
Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
Compensation: $15.25 per hour
