Position Summary:
The Admission Representative is responsible for registering ER patients and direct admits, accumulating and entering all necessary patient demographics and insurance information in the computer system with timeliness and accuracy. The position also handles all switchboard functions such as receiving incoming calls, paging, transferring and providing general information. Exceptional customer service skills and confidentiality a must.
Work Schedule:
Flexible scheduling to cover all shifts and weekends.
Education/Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent required. PBX and/or Patient Registration experience in a health care setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
None Required.
