Clerk III
The Clerk III provides administrative and operational support to the Finance Department by maintaining financial records and assisting in the preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial reports. This role supports departmental operations through expense tracking, basic financial analysis, and ensuring accurate documentation. The position also performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties, including organizing financial records, responding to internal requests, and supporting established accounting procedures and organizational policies.
Position Requirements / Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED required. Must have Secretarial skills. At least two (2) years work experience in an Office Environment or Secretary position Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge, analytical skill sets, attention to detail. Knowledge of E.HR systems preferred.
Licensure / Certification: Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Skills / Ability: Dictation skills; (must be able to take and translate minutes at meetings), computer skills, interpersonal skills. Must be able to type 40 WPM. Ability to deal/communicate efficiently, effectively and courteously with a wide variety of individuals. Ability to work independently and strong-organizational skills. Strong computer based skills are a must. Ability to work as a team and independently Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Office Bilingual preferred.
Position Responsibilities (This is a non-exempt position):
Administrative Responsibilities
Manages and uploads content to the department's SharePoint page to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Coordinates and schedules teleconference and virtual meetings for the department.
Maintains and organizes departmental records, files, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
Provides administrative support for templating and documentation activities for the Patient Service Department.
Assists in the development and preparation of departmental presentations and supporting materials.
Maintains and organizes departmental email folders to support efficient communication and record management.
Collects, coordinates, and compiles weekly and monthly reports as requested by management.
Prepares meeting agendas, coordinates meeting logistics, records meeting minutes, and distributes finalized minutes within five working days.
Assists with preparing, assembling, and distributing materials for departmental meetings and presentations.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with internal clients and staff.
Supports effective departmental communication by following the appropriate chain of command for reporting issues and updates.
Performs other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
