Shipping And Receiving Technician 1 Job Posting
If you have strong attention to detail, can work safely and efficiently independently and as part of a team, and are looking for an opportunity to grow, you could advance your career in Shipping and Receiving. As a Shipping and Receiving Technician, you will work with the operations team to ship and receive products in a timely manner and maintain inventory counts for finished goods and raw materials through accurate documentation to ensure on-time delivery to our customers. Fisher Barton is constantly adding new technologies to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
You will:
Adhere to Fisher Barton Safety and Quality procedures and regulations and business code of ethics
Pull orders, ensure orders have been pulled, staged and repacked in correct quantities and packaging
Load and unload trucks as required
Use scanner to ensure all product is placed into correct location and system is updated
Create and reprint labels
Process chips from the Machine Shop
Package and store finished parts
Build boxes for shipment of product to customers
Maintain inventory of commonly used containers
Build custom wood shipping boxes
Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas

Required Qualifications:
Basic Math skills
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Physical | Visual Demands:
Weight amount that would need to be lifted, pushed, or pulled: Up to 100 pounds
Sit, Stand, Walk Talk/Hear, Use Hands, Climb/Balance, Stoop/Kneel/Crouch or Crawl, Reach with Hands and Arms, Taste/Smell (Percentage of Day = 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%)
Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday with availability to work overtime
