Data Migration & Archive Delivery Lead

York Solutions is hiring a Data Migration & Archive Delivery Lead in a hybrid contract role.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in utility data migration, CIS transformation, or SAP utilities programs.
Prior experience as a Data Migration Lead, Cutover Lead, Data Architect, or Data Governance Lead on major utility programs.
Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and records‑retention requirements driving archiving, data governance, and auditability.
Ability to interpret and translate utility‑specific data models for customer, premise, device, billing, contract, financial, and meter‑related data.
Responsibilities
Manage and lead the Data Migration & Archiving Workstream across Data Migration, Data Cleansing, and Archiving activities.
Develop and maintain the Data Conversion/Migration Strategy, Data Cleansing Strategy, and Archiving Strategy, covering methodology, governance, profiling, cleansing, mapping, testing, quality thresholds, and reconciliation checkpoints.
Define the scope of conversion and archiving including in‑scope legacy systems, target systems (SAP S/4HANA CIS, Salesforce, Customer Data Grid), and objects required for SIT, UAT, ORT, and Production cutovers.
Work with SI partner on mock cutovers and dress rehearsals; build and manage the conversion schedule and dependencies.
Provide or coordinate business rules and logic for data transformations and mapping specifications.
Lead validation cycles including pre‑load/post‑load checks, defect resolution, and load acceptance criteria.
Assess data impacts to edge systems and ensure cross‑system integration readiness.
