Location : Charlotte, NC, Irving, Texas or Iselin, NJ
Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Services Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the datacenter migration program, focusing on Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, Network, and Observability. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in infrastructure management, capable of leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance of infrastructure services.
Responsibilities :
Lead the planning and execution of datacenter migration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units, to gather requirements and define project scope.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
Implement best practices for infrastructure management, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues during and after migration.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the migration process.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in infrastructure management, particularly in datacenter operations and migration.
Proficiency in Middleware MQ, Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, VMware, Storage, and Networking technologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
