The Controller will be at the forefront of financial planning and controls, including leading project accounting activities like construction-in-progress, fixed assets, accruals, and managing cash flows.
This role requires overseeing monthly financial close processes, general ledger activities, and financial reporting specific to the project.
The successful candidate will collaborate with project controls, procurement, and leadership teams to ensure financial transparency, carefully review project contracts, and handle audit processes throughout the project's lifecycle.
The ability to identify financial risks and provide recommendations for decision-making is essential, as is scaling accounting processes from construction to operational phases.
The position entails serving as a vital financial advisor and partner to cross-functional stakeholders involved in the project.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as either a Controller or Plant Controller with substantial experience in capital or construction projects.
Proficiency in CIP accounting, contract review, and financial governance is required, alongside experience with ERP systems like SAP.
Leadership skills, including mentoring a small accounting team, are crucial, with preferred qualifications being a CPA designation.
The compensation package offers a base salary between $150K-$180K, a potential bonus, comprehensive benefits, and relocation support for eligible candidates. xsgimln
