Plant Controller – Manufacturing
A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller to oversee all financial operations for one of its key production sites. This role is responsible for full plant accounting leadership, financial reporting, and strategic business partnership with plant and business unit leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in full compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
Own the plant P&L, inventory/working capital, annual budget, and monthly/quarterly forecasts
Analyze material usage, cost statements, labor metrics, sales performance, and manufacturing results
Provide insights, commentary, and recommendations to drive operational and financial performance
Conduct balance sheet reviews and oversee account reconciliations
Support commercial excellence through profitability analysis and customer performance insights
Ensure strong internal controls, SOX compliance, and adherence to corporate governance standards
Develop financial acumen across the plant leadership team and support training on systems and processes
Lead or contribute to performance management, goal‑setting, and talent development for direct reports
Promote a strong safety culture and model company values
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of manufacturing finance experience, including 5+ years in leadership
Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to partner with operations, challenge assumptions, and drive results
