MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center is seeking a
Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist
to assist with
high-volume weekend coverage . This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Southern California hospital system and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing radiology team.
The ideal candidate will be a B ody Imager
with strong experience interpreting
CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films . The practice does
not
include nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast imaging.
Schedule & Coverage
Shifts:
Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (Onsite)
Coverage Type:
Scheduled + No Call
Shift Length:
10 hours- with the possibility of some shorter shifts if desired.
Support:
Hospital-based radiology and technologist staff
Average Volume:
reads per weekend day (mix of CT and plain films)
Expectation:
All studies generated during shift are to be completed no reads left for next coverage
Orientation & Credentialing
Orientation:
2 weekdays onsite prior to start for system setup, training, and quality review with supervising physician
All hours billable
Estimated Credentialing:
30+ days
Must hold an unrestricted California medical license
Requirements
Board Certification:
Required (Diagnostic Radiology)
State License:
Active, Unrestricted CA (Not open to licensure)
Certifications:
BLS or ACLS
DEA:
Required
CSR:
Not Required
Experience:
Minimum 1+ year post-training
