Scoops Ice Cream & Grille is hiring a
Lead Line Cook
to join our fast-paced kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who has kitchen experience and is ready to take on a leadership position, helping manage daily operations while maintaining high food quality and efficiency.
This position starts as part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

Scoops Ice Cream & Grille is a well-known, community-focused restaurant in Mountville, PA. We serve fresh, made-to-order grille items and premium ice cream in a fun, welcoming environment. In addition to our main location, we operate four food trucks that cater local events, giving team members opportunities for variety and growth.
Pay & Benefits
$17-20 per hour plus tips
(based on experience)
Flexible scheduling

Schedule
20–40 hours per week
Morning shifts: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Evening shifts: 2:00 PM – Close or 4:00 PM – Close
Closing times:
9:00 PM (Sun–Thurs)
10:00 PM (Fri–Sat)
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food according to Scoops standards
Lead and support kitchen staff during shifts
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
Monitor inventory and assist with prep and stocking
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members during busy service
Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Leadership or supervisory xywuqvp experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
Knowledge of food safety practices ( ServSafe preferred )
Willing to train the right candidate
Work Location
In-person at Scoops Ice Cream & Grille in Mountville, PA, with potential opportunities to assist with food truck events.
