Duration : Long-Term Contract (12+ Months)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a large-scale healthcare construction initiative. This role will partner closely with the Program Manager to ensure successful delivery of all IT infrastructure components across the site.
This is a hands-on, field-facing role focused on aligning technology deployment with construction timelines, ensuring critical systems are delivered, installed, and operational in support of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead delivery of IT infrastructure systems within a major healthcare construction project, including:
Network (LAN/WAN)
Wi-Fi
CBRS / DAS / emergency radio systems
Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineering teams to align IT scope with construction milestones
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from design validation through installation, testing, and go-live
Ensure infrastructure readiness for clinical operations, including ambulatory, imaging, and OR environments
Track and manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables related to IT scope
Partner with internal IT teams (network, security, telecom) to ensure standards and requirements are met
Oversee vendors responsible for cabling, wireless deployment, and telecom systems
Conduct site walks and provide on-the-ground coordination to ensure proper installation and issue resolution
Support testing, commissioning, and turnover of systems to operations teams

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of IT Infrastructure Project Management experience
Proven experience supporting large-scale construction or facility buildout projects
Enterprise networking (LAN/WAN)
Wireless (Wi-Fi) deployments
Low-voltage systems (structured cabling, DAS, CBRS, emergency radio)
Experience coordinating with construction teams and vendors in an active build environment
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across IT, facilities, and construction
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare environments (hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings)
Familiarity with clinical infrastructure requirements (imaging, ORs, patient care areas)
Experience with large-scale (>100K sq ft) facility projects
PMP or similar certification

Work Environment:
Active construction environment requiring regular site presence and coordination
