Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, reliability, and continuous development of the yacht’s hydraulic systems across training and racing environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all onboard hydraulic systems, working closely with performance, systems, and shore teams. This is an opportunity to be directly involved in one of the most technically advanced racing platforms in the world.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, maintain, and service all onboard hydraulic systems, including accumulators, pumps, valves, and actuators.
Conduct pre- and post-sailing checks, servicing, and fault diagnostics.
Work closely with system engineers to support calibration and system tuning.
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues both on the water and ashore under time-critical conditions.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of hydraulic systems and processes.
Support system integration with onboard electronics and control systems.
Maintain detailed service records, build logs, and configuration control.
Collaborate with composite, mechanical, rigging and electrical teams during build and upgrade phases.
Contribute to spare parts management and inventory of hydraulic components.
Background & Technical Skills
5 years of experience in high-performance hydraulics (marine, motorsport, aerospace, or similar).
Proven experience working with high-pressure hydraulic systems and precision components.
Experience with fault-finding and diagnostics under pressure.
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
Strong practical hands-on skills with excellent attention to detail.

Location & Time Commitment

Availability to work weekends and extended hours during key campaign phases.
On-water support required during training and racing periods.
