Construction Project Manager, Restoration / Reconstruction

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial reconstruction projects resulting from fire, water, mold, and storm damage. This is a reconstruction role, not ground up new construction.

In this position, you will manage multiple projects at once and be responsible for schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with property owners, insurance representatives, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to move projects from authorization through final completion.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of multiple reconstruction projects from work authorization through final walkthrough
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, vendors, and internal field teams to maintain production timelines
Review scopes, estimates, and line items for accuracy, profitability, and alignment with project needs
Maintain project documentation, jobsite safety compliance, permits, and inspections
Communicate proactively with property owners, property managers, insurance representatives, and adjusters
Resolve scope changes and support change orders and supplements while protecting job margins
Provide project forecasting, reporting, and operational updates to branch leadership
Deliver a high-quality customer experience that supports repeat and referral business

Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience in construction or restoration, with reconstruction experience preferred
Ability to manage 10 to 30 projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating and construction software
Knowledge of building codes, permitting, inspections, and subcontractor coordination
Experience working with insurance carriers, TPAs, and adjusters
Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
