Overview
We are seeking a
hands-on Systems Administrator
to support a multi-site enterprise environment (~330+ users). This role requires strong experience across
server, network, security, and virtualization infrastructure , along with the ability to handle
advanced escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams .
Key Responsibilities
Provide
server and network administration
in an on-prem enterprise environment
Handle
advanced escalations
from IT support teams
Support
multi-location infrastructure operations
Monitor server health, performance, and security
Troubleshoot and resolve
hardware, software, and infrastructure outages
Manage
networking technologies
(firewall, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching)
Respond to
network/security incidents and events
Support
backup and disaster recovery operations
Maintain
virtualized environments and web server certificates
Virtualization, Backup & DR (Critical)
Manage
Microsoft Hyper-V environments
(SCVMM preferred)
Administer
Veeam Backup & Replication
Support
cloud backups (AWS or Wasabi preferred)
Assist with
disaster recovery testing and execution
Automation & Systems Management
Use
PowerShell, GPO, and RMM tools
for automation
Support deployment and configuration improvements
Identify and recommend infrastructure enhancements
Storage & Environment
Support
on-prem servers and SAN storage systems
HPE Nimble preferred
(or equivalent SAN experience)
Maintain virtualization infrastructure environments
Qualifications
5+ years Systems Administration / Infrastructure experience
Strong Windows Server experience
Experience with
Hyper-V virtualization
Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with
backup and DR (Veeam preferred)
Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure layers
Ability to support
multi-site environments and escalations
Preferred
SCVMM experience
AWS or Wasabi cloud storage experience
HPE Nimble or similar SAN experience
PowerShell scripting experience
Security and infrastructure hardening exposure
