Position : EHS Specialist
Pay Rate : $26/hr. on W2
Location : Burbank, CA 91504 (Onsite)
Contract Duration : 12 months
Job Information :
We’re looking for someone who can support daily site operations while helping maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance. This role involves hands-on involvement in training, audits, emergency preparedness, and environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver onboarding and training sessions for new hires
Facilitate EHS trainings and conduct audits/assessments (e.g., JSA, LOTO, PPE compliance)
Organize and lead safety committee meetings
Assist in reviewing and approving work permits for employees and contractors
Oversee maintenance of emergency and fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, spill kits, etc.)
Support 5S audits and documentation efforts
Plan and execute emergency drills
Maintain and update site communication boards (daily, weekly, monthly)
Manage the chemical inventory system
Handle incident reporting, including database entry, coordination with corporate EHS, and leading investigations/root cause analysis
Qualifications :
Previous experience in EHS
High school diploma or equivalent
