Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced
School Psychologist
that is certified in the state of practice.
This is a
permanent,
full time position for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Minimum Requirements include:
Missouri school psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
Advanced degree in psychology or closely related field
Near native fluency in spoken and written English
Responsibilities:
Designs and applies tailored instructional supports and targeted strategies grounded in current best practices
Works alongside team members to develop and carry out individualized student learning plans
Gathers and interprets student performance information to inform support strategies within a tiered framework
Offers classroom-level and targeted academic/behavioral guidance for students across multiple grade bands
Acts as a key point of contact between families and school personnel throughout the special services referral process
Conducts comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive and academic measures
Delivers responsive support during high-need situations, including one-on-one and small group counseling
Coordinates and oversees school-wide progress tracking and performance check-ins
Utilizes a variety of informal evaluation methods (e.g., classroom observations, skill-based probes, behavior reviews)
Creates, implements, and reviews individualized behavior support plans
Oversees accommodation plans, managing meetings and ensuring supports are consistently applied
Participates in school-wide teams focused on student support systems and positive behavior frameworks
