Project Controls (EVMS / P6 SME)
Compa Industries

is seeking a

high-level Project Controls leader

to support mission-critical programs at the

Savannah River Site (SRS) . This is a

principal-level role

focused on

cost, schedule, EVMS, and strategic project execution .
Pay:

$80–$88/hr
Location:

Savannah River Site, SC (100% Onsite)
Schedule:

6:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (Mon–Thurs)
Citizenship:

U.S. Citizenship Required

Candidates

must have :
Proven leadership in

Project Controls (cost, schedule, EVMS, estimating)

on

complex, large-scale projects
Advanced Primavera P6 experience

(resource loading, baseline management, schedule performance)
EVMS / Earned Value expertise

including cost tracking, variance analysis, and reporting
Strong experience with

cost management systems (e.g., Cobra or similar)
Experience supporting

DOE, NNSA, DOD, or large capital projects

strongly preferred
Ability to lead

project controls programs and teams
Candidates without

P6 + EVMS + cost/schedule leadership experience

will not be considered.
Impact
In this role, you will serve as a

technical authority and leader

responsible for ensuring

cost, schedule, and performance success

across major DOE programs. You will drive

data-driven decision-making , improve

project controls systems , and mentor teams to execute at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Project Controls Leadership
Lead and direct the

full project controls program

across major scopes
Establish and manage

baselines, WBS, milestone schedules, and spend plans
Provide

technical leadership and guidance

to project controls teams
Cost & Schedule Performance
Monitor and analyze

cost and schedule performance against baselines
Perform

variance analysis

and develop mitigation strategies
Lead

change control processes , including Baseline Change Proposals (BCPs)
EVMS & Systems Expertise
Serve as SME for

Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Utilize tools such as

Primavera P6, Cobra, and site business systems
Develop and improve

advanced project control systems and processes
Reporting & Executive Communication
Prepare and present

financial and performance reports

to senior leadership
Lead

project cost reviews and schedule meetings
Deliver

clear, data-driven insights

to support strategic decisions
Team Leadership & Development
Provide

technical direction, mentorship, and training

to project controls staff
Lead development of

best practices, tools, and methodologies
Support hiring, training, and performance development
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree + 8 years experience
OR

Bachelor’s + 10 years
OR

Associate’s + 13 years
OR

High School Diploma + 17 years relevant experience
Core Requirements:
Expert-level

project controls experience (cost, schedule, EVMS, estimating)
Advanced proficiency with

Primavera P6
Strong experience with

cost systems (Cobra preferred)
Deep understanding of

project lifecycle (engineering, construction, startup)
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
DOE / NNSA / DOD project experience
Active or recent DOE Q or L clearance
10+ years experience with:
P6 scheduling & resource loading
Cost tracking & performance analysis
Change control & BCPs
Experience with:
Cobra, Empower, Success systems
EVMS compliance & reporting
Large capital or nuclear projects

Project:

PPOP
Duration:

1 year + (2) optional 1-year extensions
Hours:

2080 ST / ~200 OT annually
Work Environment:

100% onsite (local or relocation required)
