The IT Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing information technology equipment within a warehouse or distribution environment. This role ensures accurate inventory management and timely shipment of IT hardware while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming IT equipment such as computers, servers, monitors, and accessories
Accurately record inventory using warehouse management systems or barcode scanners
Pick, pack, and ship customer or internal orders in a timely manner
Label, tag, and track IT assets according to company procedures
Perform basic testing or inspection of hardware (if required)
Maintain organized storage of equipment and supplies
Assist with loading and unloading shipments
Conduct routine inventory counts and audits
Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus
Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, inventory systems, Microsoft Excel)
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
Warehouse or distribution center setting
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
May involve operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
