Tax Supervisor (Baltimore County)

Responsibilities:
This individual is primarily responsible for coordinating tax related compliance and operational needs of venture capital and private equity funds.
Review Schedule K-1’s and partnership tax returns (complex carry allocation experience is plus)
Liaison with Fund Accounting team and outside tax preparers
Coordinate with clients on tax reporting timelines and LP expectations
Track and resolve tax notices
Respond to questions from accounting team for various support or additional details
Coordinate with AP team to process tax payments
Various ad-hoc tasks, and other projects and deadlines that arise in relation to above
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4+ years’ experience in a tax accounting capacity
Investment Partnership Tax experience strongly desired
CPA is a plus
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
