Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Tax/Assurance Operations Administrator
to support the smooth and efficient functioning of our tax and assurance teams in our Latham location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and assemble financial statements and tax returns (paper and digital).
Process and scan client tax documents into Axcess Tax; manage e-filing and delivery via Safe Send.
Maintain client records in Axcess Client Manager and manage project workflows in Workstream.
Upload and organize client files in Document; set up and support Portal accounts.
Handle engagement letters and organizers; track and communicate data status.
Support 1099 processing, mail handling, and shipping coordination (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
Assist with client onboarding, billing arrangements, and ad hoc administrative tasks.
Switchboard operation as backup.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Professional, friendly demeanor with the ability to handle diverse tasks in audit and tax environments.
