Maintenance Technician (St Marys)

Responsibilities:
Oversee Demonstrate extensive knowledge of metal stamping press operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metal stamping presses to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Maintain company vehicles, forklifts, and facility systems as needed.
Complete high?quality fabrication and repair work to support manufacturing and maintenance needs.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including single?phase and three?phase equipment.
Oversee daily maintenance operations by scheduling, prioritizing, and coordinating work orders to minimize equipment downtime.
Lead equipment upgrade, installation, and modification projects using effective project management practices.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify safety risks or potential failures and implement corrective actions.
Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance technicians, providing guidance, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations related to electrical systems, machinery, and facility maintenance.
Actively participate as a member of the company Safety Committee to support continuous safety improvement.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
10+ years of experience in a metal stamping facility, and experience working with high tonnage presses.
10+ years of proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
10+ years of proven experience in a forklift, aerial lift, and scissor lift
6+ years of supervising or management experience in a maintenance environment.
Ability to read blueprints and comprehend mechanical drawings
Rigging experience is a plus
