Maintenance Planner (Williamsport)

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using a

CMMS

system
Review work orders for accuracy, scope, labor requirements, timing, materials, and safety considerations
Ensure all parts, tools, equipment, permits, and labor are available before scheduled maintenance begins
Create purchase requisitions and manage parts ordering to support maintenance operations
Maintain accurate spare parts inventory levels to reduce downtime while controlling costs
Coordinate maintenance and service schedules for company vehicles and forklifts
Work closely with maintenance leadership to optimize scheduling and workforce utilization
Review completed work orders for documentation accuracy, labor variances, and closure quality
Analyze maintenance trends and recommend improvements to preventive/predictive maintenance programs
Track spending and support adherence to maintenance budgets
Retrieve urgent parts and supplies from vendors when needed
Keep parts rooms and storage areas organized, clean, and audit-ready
Participate in after-hours or emergency parts support as needed
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance performance reports
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
4+ years of related maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory, or parts management experience required
5+ years in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment preferred
Experience using

CMMS systems

for maintenance planning and work order management
Strong inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, and forecasting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace / G-Suite
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Physical & Work Environment
Work is performed in office, warehouse, and manufacturing settings
Exposure to noise, temperature changes, moving machinery, and industrial conditions
Must be able to lift materials and parts as needed
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
