Our client is looking for a ServiceNow BA to work on a 6-month assignment overseeing a ServiceNow implementation.

Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite

Senior Business Analyst
Overview
The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving successful IT delivery by leveraging Agile practices, data-driven insights, and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM). This role partners across business and technology teams to translate complex needs into actionable requirements, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value aligned to strategic priorities.
Operating within a SAFe® environment, the Sr. BA supports Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and helps ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. This role will also collaborate on initiatives involving ServiceNow, supporting requirements and enhancements across the platform.
What You’ll Do
Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and team coordination
Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, and ServiceNow teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
Manage and prioritize backlogs to ensure teams are focused on the highest-value work
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies across Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Use Agile and LPM metrics (velocity, cycle time, predictability) to track performance and guide decisions
Communicate progress, risks, and delivery impacts to stakeholders at all levels
Support process improvement efforts, including documentation of current and future states
Lead demos, walkthroughs, and post-implementation reviews to validate outcomes and drive adoption
Ensure alignment between portfolio priorities, business goals, and delivered solutions

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
2+ years of experience supporting SAFe® or scaled Agile environments
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements
Exposure to ServiceNow , including supporting requirements, enhancements, or implementations within the platform
Preferred Experience
Strong understanding of SAFe®, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and PI Planning
Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira
Familiarity with ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, SecOps, HRSD) and working with platform teams
Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and business process improvement
Experience aligning work to OKRs, KPIs, and strategic business outcomes
Ability to communicate delivery risks, business value, and insights across all levels of the organization
