We’re hiring an experienced
HR Manager
to lead a high-volume HR function supporting a large onsite workforce. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a team of HR coordinators and generalists, serving as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters, and ensuring consistent, compliant HR practices across multiple employment types.
Location & Schedule
New Albany, OH
(splitting time between
onsite in New Albany
and an office in
Pataskula )
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop an HR team of
5+
(coordinators and generalists); provide coaching, guidance, and escalation support
Support a
high-volume onsite workforce
(hundreds of employees), ensuring strong HR presence and responsiveness
Manage and resolve
HR investigations end-to-end , ensuring consistency, documentation, and appropriate outcomes
Oversee compliance and administration related to:
FMLA, ADA , Workers’ Compensation, Religious accommodations
Support and advise leaders on HR practices across
full-time and contract
employment types
Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues and risk-sensitive situations
Qualifications
10–12+ years
of Human Resources experience
3+ years
of dedicated HR management experience
Proven experience managing an HR team of
5+
Experience supporting
large, high-volume teams
with
hundreds of employees onsite
Strong working knowledge of
religious accommodations, FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation
Demonstrated ability to lead investigations from intake through closure and coach junior HR team members
Preferred
HR experience in
warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial
environments
Bilingual
(Spanish or French) — preferred, not required
