Prominent Seattle-based principal seeks a highly capable, grounded, and resourceful Administrative Personal Assistant / Family Assistant to provide day-to-day support across personal, household, and administrative needs. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and is comfortable operating across a wide range of responsibilities.

This position is rooted in high-touch personal and household support, with a strong focus on execution, follow-through, and problem-solving in real time. The majority of the role is spent managing day-to-day logistics, handling errands, coordinating vendors, and ensuring that ongoing priorities are addressed efficiently and without oversight.

The ideal candidate is someone who operates independently, uses sound judgment, and does not require constant direction to move things forward. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, low-formality environment where priorities can shift and where initiative is expected.

Over time, there is potential for the role to expand into broader administrative or Executive Assistant responsibilities for the right individual; however, this is not a requirement and will depend on performance, capability, and interest.

This is a full-time, primarily on-site role based in Seattle, operating between the principal’s home, office, and on-the-go support. The environment is professional but not corporate, and values practicality, efficiency, and low pretension. Flexibility and appropriate responsiveness outside of standard business hours are expected when needed.

This is a long-term opportunity offering stability and the ability to build a trusted working relationship over time.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide day-to-day personal support including errands, scheduling, and general life logistics
Coordinate and oversee household operations, including vendor management, maintenance, and service scheduling
Handle real-time problem-solving and ensure follow-through on ongoing tasks and open items
Support organization of daily priorities, to-do lists, and scheduling needs
Assist with coordination related to children’s schedules, activities, and logistics as appropriate
Comfortable suppporting basic meal coordination or light preparation if needed is a PLUS
Manage digital logistics including bookings, reservations, and general online coordination
Maintain organization across personal systems, tasks, and ongoing responsibilities
Assist with light administrative support including email organization, task tracking, and coordination
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as needed
Identify inefficiencies and proactively improve processes where possible
Exercise good judgment in decision-making and escalate only when necessary
Operate independently and take ownership of responsibilities without requiring constant oversight
Additional Administrative Personal / Family Assistant responsibilities as needed and requested by the principal

Requirements:
Fluent in English; strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
3-5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and problem-solve without constant direction
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
Resourceful and solutions-oriented with a hands-on approach
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Technologically proficient, including comfort with apps, bookings, and managing digital logistics independently
Strong judgment and ability to prioritize effectively
Cost-conscious with an ability to think critically about spending and efficiency
Operates with integrity, discretion, and a strong moral compass
Grounded, low-ego, and comfortable in a highly supportive, behind-the-scenes role
Must be based in Seattle and familiar with the local area
Valid Driver’s License required
Authorized to work within the United States without sponsorship
