Operations Research Systems Analysts (ORSAs)
to support mission‑critical operations in Colorado Springs, CO. We are seeking
mid‑ to senior‑level analysts
with strong quantitative backgrounds to join our growing team as positions become available.
Successful candidates will bring experience developing and applying mathematical and statistical models to complex problems, supporting senior decision‑makers across national security and defense missions. Experience in the
space domain
is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Depending on experience level, ORSAs may be responsible for some or all of the following:
Apply advanced expertise in
operations research, applied mathematics, data analytics, modeling and simulation, and decision analysis
Determine appropriate levels of analytical rigor based on mission complexity, uncertainty, and data limitations
Translate customer requirements into effective analytical approaches and clearly communicate findings, assumptions, and recommendations
Collaborate with senior leaders and decision‑makers to frame problem sets and clarify management objectives
Lead or support multidisciplinary analysis teams addressing complex, high‑risk problem spaces
Develop, implement, and refine analytical processes, tools, and methodologies
Work as part of an integrated contractor team alongside government and industry partners
Perform work in a
secure, confined environment (SCIF)
Required Qualifications (Mid to Senior Level):
Bachelor of Science in
Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (no exceptions)
5–10+ years
of relevant professional experience (level aligned to candidate background)
Experience with the
design of experiments
or structured analytical methods
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to integrate and interpret complex data
Technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
Operations research
Modeling and simulation
Computer science
Data or big‑data analytics
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Willingness and ability to learn new technical and mission domains
High motivation, adaptability, creativity, and comfort working in dynamic environments
Active TS/SCI clearance (required)
Senior‑Level / Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in
Operations Research
or a related quantitative or theoretical science field
Experience supporting
DoD space missions, Space Force, or joint force programs
Demonstrated experience leading analysis teams or mentoring junior analysts
Programming experience with
Python, MATLAB, R, SQL, and/or VBA
Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models
Advanced experience with
Excel VBA
or custom analytical tools
