Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Planning Manager
to
oversee and optimize
our
production planning, inventory management, and materials procurement processes . This role ensures efficient production flow, minimizes inventory costs, and maintains optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and experience in manufacturing or supply chain management.
Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and company objectives.
Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure on-time production and delivery.
Monitor production workflow to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Implement inventory control strategies to reduce waste, excess stock, and shortages.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with procurement to evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze production and inventory data to improve forecasting accuracy.
Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and production on time data.
Identify trends and provide recommendations to optimize operations.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Implement best practices for inventory and production control.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive inventory optimization, customer on time performance and production efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., EPICOR, M3, SAP, Oracle).
Proficiency in inventory management techniques, such as Just-in-Time (JIT) and ABC analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Certification in APICS (CPIM) or CSCP is a plus.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
