
Environment, Health and Safety Manager (Carrollton)

The ODA Group is a direct-hire staffing firm based in Dallas. One of our clients, a growing company in the paint finishing industry, based in Carrollton, is seeking a HSE Manager. The HSE Manager will:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s safety management system
Conduct and document safety inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-ups
Plan, deliver, and document employee training on the following topics (initial and recurring): Grounding and Bonding, Painter Safety (spray equipment, PPE, ventilation), Emergency Evacuation Planning and Drills, Paint Storage Area Compliance and other duties
Manage the facility’s air permit and ensure day-to-day operations remain within permitted emission limits
Conduct and document regular emissions tracking, calculations, and recordkeeping in accordance with TCEQ permit conditions
Prepare and submit required regulatory reports (e.g., annual emissions inventory, permit deviation reports, Tier II reporting)
This position is a full time, direct hire role with a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity and full benefits.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an EHS, safety, or environmental compliance role in a manufacturing or finishing environment
Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) standards
Familiarity with EPA and TCEQ air quality permitting, emissions reporting, and hazardous waste regulations (RCRA)
