A leading industrial manufacturing organization in the transportation and heavy equipment space is seeking an
EHS Manager
to support a large remanufacturing operation in
Las Vegas, Nevada . This person will be tasked with driving a proactive, people-first safety culture in a fast-paced, 24-hour industrial environment. The role focuses on building, strengthening, and sustaining site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs while partnering closely with operations and leadership. It’s a strong opportunity for an EHS professional to have visible impact and influence at a critical facility.
The Role
Lead the planning, development, and execution of site-level environmental, health, safety, and loss prevention programs to support an injury-free workplace.
Drive safety culture through training, coaching, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, workers’ compensation requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Partner with operations, engineering, and HR on ergonomics, onboarding, job safety analyses, and new process or facility changes.
Manage EHS-related vendors and programs, including waste streams, industrial hygiene monitoring, uniforms, and janitorial services.
The Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related discipline preferred, with at least 3 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, workers’ compensation, and hazard identification.
Proven ability to lead incident investigations, develop corrective action plans, and improve safety systems and performance metrics.
Confident communicator with experience delivering training and influencing employees at all levels of the organization.
Professional safety certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM) are preferred, along with strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
