Position Overview:
MacMore is seeking a
Technical Support Management (TSM) Specialist
to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for a pending contract award.
Location:
Mobile, AL (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the Technical Support Management (TSM) system and Electronic Trial Card (ETC) tool to support deficiency tracking and resolution across the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) program.
Track, manage, and update deficiency records throughout the full lifecycle—from creation through closure—ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely status updates.
Develop and maintain ship-specific databases and ensure proper configuration and data integrity within the TSM and ETC systems.
Support pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities by assisting in the creation, screening, and management of trial cards and deficiency records.
Generate and deliver deficiency status reports, metrics, and progress updates to support program management, technical reviews, and decision-making.
Provide technical support and system training to OPC PRO personnel, INSURV teams, and shipbuilder staff on TSM/ETC system functionality and usage.
Assist in preparing technical briefings, assessments, audits, and milestone reviews, including analysis of deficiency trends and corrective actions.
Maintain and deploy a local network capability (up to 20 devices) to support real-time deficiency tracking during dockside and at-sea trial events.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate defect coding, data migration, and integration of legacy and current deficiency records into the TSM system.
Ensure compliance with security, configuration control, and system certification requirements (e.g., Security+ standards and ATO compliance) when managing systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Certified in Security +
Proficient in the use of the Government TSM system and the ETC tool.
Expertise in Microsoft Office suite applications.
Knowledge of ship construction deficiency records management process.
Experience with USCG highly desired
