Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a dynamic contract role serving young learners as a School Psychologist, supporting the Birth–5-year-old population for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through assessment, intervention, and collaboration across early childhood educational environments. The position runs from July 6, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with flexible contract lengths of 205 or 215 days, giving you input on your work schedule. Key Qualifications:Valid state certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for credentialing)Previous experience working with children from birth through age 5 strongly preferredDeep understanding of early childhood development, assessments, and intervention strategiesSuperior communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with families, colleagues, and community agenciesCommitment to culturally responsive practices and ongoing professional growth Primary Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students ages birth to 5Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement appropriate Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)Deliver direct and consultative services to support students’ cognitive, social, and emotional developmentProvide crisis intervention and support as neededMaintain thorough documentation and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standardsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to help foster a nurturing, inclusive educational environment Benefits of this contracted role include the opportunity to work in diverse areas within Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County, steady full-time hours, and professional enrichment as you advocate for the needs of young children and their families.
