Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting children at all developmental stages, from early intervention through elementary, in a dynamic school-based setting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners across three closely situated locations, as well as providing in-home sessions in Clawson. Youll play a vital part in helping students find their voices and thrive in educational and home environments. Key Qualifications:Current Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist Certification required Experience delivering speech-language services to early childhood, elementary, and PreK populations preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Proficiency collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Reliable transportation for travel among three schools and home-based visits (all within a short driving distance)
Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs (early intervention and PreK-elementary) Conduct assessments and document student progress Provide therapy sessions at Clawson Early Childhood Center, Japhet, Guardian Angels, and in-home environments Consult with teachers, caregivers, and staff to support generalization of skills Create engaging materials and activities to maximize student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and school policies
Program Details:Contract position with a summer schedule of 5-10 hours per week, shifting to 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year Assignment runs from June 1, 2026 through Thanksgiving 2026 Compensation ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, reflecting expertise and credentials
