Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of young learners through a unique contract opportunity supporting speech and language development in a vibrant school community near Warren, MI! This assignment runs from June 1, 2026, through Thanksgiving, offering a flexible split: 5–10 hours per week during the summer, increasing to 32.5 hours weekly throughout the school year. Serve a diverse student population, including Early Intervention (year-round), Early Childhood Center, and two non-public programs catering to PreK and elementary ages.

You will provide services across three schools—all within a convenient two-mile radius—as well as some in-home therapy in the Clawson area. Your expertise will help shape communication skills and unlock students’ potential across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Your experience and credentials include:Current Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist CertificationBackground delivering speech and language services to students across multiple age groups (Early Intervention, PreK, elementary preferred)Experience or willingness to travel between multiple sites and provide occasional in-home therapyStrong collaborative and communication skills working with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities:Assess, develop, and implement individualized speech/language therapy plansSupport early intervention as well as early childhood and elementary populationsCollaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growthMaintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and school policiesFlexibly manage your schedule to provide high-quality services throughout school and in-home settings This contract position offers an attractive hourly rate between $45-$55 based on experience and fit.
