Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll deliver essential services to children from early intervention through elementary levels. This contract opportunity runs from June 1, 2026, through Thanksgiving 2026, with flexibility for summer and school-year scheduling—perfect for professionals seeking a dynamic environment. The assignment includes approximately 5-10 hours weekly during the summer, expanding to 32.5 hours per week once the school year begins. You’ll collaborate with a diverse student population at three schools within two miles of each other, along with some in-home therapy in Clawson. This is an impactful position supporting early learners at an Early Childhood Center as well as non-public preschool and elementary-aged students. Desired Qualifications and Experience:Active Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist certificationPrevious experience working in school settings or with early childhood/elementary populationsCompetence delivering speech and language interventions to children with a variety of needsConfidence navigating multiple school sites (travel limited to a two mile radius) and home-based sessionsStrong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech-language therapy and support for early intervention as well as PreK/elementary studentsDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational and family teamsComplete required documentation and progress notes in a timely fashionCommunicate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providersTravel between three schools and to select homes within the local area as needed Enjoy a competitive pay range of $45-$55 per hour, with scheduling that supports work-life balance.
