As part of the firms long-term succession planning, leadership is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to focus on the firms non-litigation work, including contracts, corporate governance, and general counsel support for established clients.
Position Overview
This role will work closely with senior attorneys and firm leadership to handle a range of transactional and advisory matters. The ideal candidate enjoys building client relationships, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and providing practical business guidance in a professional yet approachable environment.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and vendor contracts
Support small business clients on corporate governance and operational matters
Advise on entity formation, contract renewals, and business transactions
Collaborate with litigation teams to assess risk and support dispute prevention strategies
Maintain direct communication with clients, management companies, and business owners
Ideal Background
27 years of experience in transactional, contracts, or corporate law
Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
Experience advising small to mid-sized businesses preferred
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with internal teams and clients
Professional demeanor with a client-service mindset
